Arlington, Va.’s The Metropolitan at Pentagon City
Named NAA PARAGON Community of the Year
July 12, 2010—Kettler Management’s The Metropolitan at Pentagon City in Arlington, Va., was named National Apartment Association’s (NAA) PARAGON Community of the Year at the NAA Education Conference & Exposition at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside & Morial Convention Center in New Orleans.
The PARAGON awards recognize the multifamily housing industry’s top communities, executives, employees and affiliate programs.
With 325 apartment homes, The Metropolitan at Pentagon City raised the standard for luxury living just minutes away from Washington, D.C. Units range from 557 to 2,621 square feet and feature stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, ceramic tile and hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings, cherry cabinetry and oversized soaking tubs.
Kettler’s Metropolitan (901 15th Street South) opened in 2002 and has sustained occupancy levels at or above 95 percent. The Metropolitan’s amenities area and common areas underwent a major renovation in 2006. Residents have access to a fitness center with a cardio theater and massage room, billiards room, business center and multi-media screening room.
The Metropolitan at Pentagon City also won a PARAGON in the category for Best Community, Less than 5 Years, over 150 units.
