I have been in the apartment industry since I was a child, learning much of my knowledge from my wonderful mother Linda Hansen; I call her the Sandra Dee of Apartments! I started when I was 16; as a grounds keeper in the summers and worked my way up to property manager by the ripe old age of 19! I have worked in every level of onsite property management. Whether its' opening a pool, doing a make ready, leasing or conducting asset manager meetings... I can do it! :)
I am a HUGE advocate of resident / customer care and training. I think it’s a shame how badly the resident and employees are treated and how employees are just thrown into their position after broad training or none at all. Then people wonder why they stink so bad at providing the level of care the customer expects. If companies and supervisors took the short time to thoroughly train their teams… the positive impacts would come back to their asset 10 fold in the long run!
I am currently seeking my double bachelors degree in marketing and HR at Park university.
