Amtech Communications is premier provider for DirecTV MDU Satellite Technology.
We provide building-centric services in Metropolitan Washington, DC. Amtech Communications is currently one of three (3) national DIRECTV Multi-Dwelling Unit (“MDU”) vendors.
Due to the recent change in legislation by the FCC, we are running a campaign that is sponsored by DirecTV where for properties that qualify, we can install a single dish satellite TV delivery system at no cost to the property owner. This is of great value to the owner because it's a free upgrade and an added amenity to the property. Tenants can now have a choice between cable and satellite TV without the need for having dishes mounted outside their unit.
DIRECTV MDU construction is non-invasive in that we utilize existing wiring within our customers’ buildings. The Terms & Conditions of a DIRECTV agreement are industry standard. What our customers find most interesting is the recent deregulation of this vertical market.
Multi-tenant buildings may now add satellite MDU services to their buildings, regardless of existing MDU contracts with a cable operator, including those containing "exclusive" language.
Please also note that:
(a) DIRECTV will install and maintain its equipment; provide all customer service; marketing efforts; etc. with no liability and/or cost to the building; and management.
(b) Once a satellite delivery system is installed, DirecTV will remove existing any and all existing dishes hanging from balconies, etc. cleaning up the outer facade of the building and thus adding even more value to the property owner.
