We have had a ton of new users this week, and I want to help you get involved! A site like this is all about what you make of it - in other words, the more you get involved, the more value you get! But what to do? Well, the best way to understand the site and how you earn points is to go here: multifamilyinsiders.com/home/apartment-n...multifamily-insiders . Then, if you do anything at all today, try making one post! For someone new to social networking, that first post can be daunting because many people don't know what to say. But really, it's easy - ask a question of the group about a challenge you have at your property. Or maybe you can share a resident function that really worked! Just get that first post up there and everything is easy after that!

Welcome!

I would like to add, from one user to another:

Make new connections/friends. If you read something interesting, don't be shy. Request a connection! That will jumpstart the conversation as people want to learn more about you and what you do.

(Additional Info From Insider Brent: Requesting a connection is easy to do - On any profile you view, there is a drop down menu called "Connections" at the top of the profile. You can request one that way!)

B,

I am curious, what is the benefit of connecting with someone within this platform?

M,
I would assume the main benefit would be to allow you to quickly find your friend/business associate easier without having to use the user search each time. Although you never know how people are going to use the site, so there might be other practical benefits.
