Could I get some feedback on working for Greystar? Bonus points if it’s in the upstate SC area!
Added: would anyone be willing to share the average price of health benefits? And dress code information? (Are blazers required? Is it more business formal or business casual? Are small non offensive tattoos allowed or do they need to be covered? Etc)
As a plus size person. I HATED grey star tbh. Always felt out of place, like if I wasn’t a barbie I wouldn’t fit in. When corporate was in town it was very obvious who they liked and who they didn’t. I only lasted for the lease up then left.
That's a shame. I worked for Riverstone which was eventually acquired by Greystar and had the exact same experience. I'm sorry you had to go through that. I lasted about 4 months and left. I work for a smaller company compared to Greystar now and am much happier.
I am truly sorry that was your experience and for how you felt during your time with Greystar. I can tell you for certain that “Barbie” is not the norm for Greystar. We come in all shapes sizes colors backgrounds.
Greystar is an amazing company. I work in the Myrtle Beach market but work alongside with a ton of the upstate peeps. An incredible group up there without a doubt!
I’ve been with Greystar going on 8 years and have had the best experience. I relocated with Greystar from Boston to Upstate SC 6 years ago and have been welcomed with open arms! Tons of room for growth!
Don’t. You’re just a number and replaceable without any type disciplinary/write up/coaching. They hired you as a leader, but allow said leader to lead their team? Nah.
I wanted so badly to work for Greystar.. until I did. The comments say it all. Seniority trumps all - no questions asked.
