Every Fourth of July weekend I always think of this one prospect who called me six years ago. He was interested in an apartment but only wanted to “try it out” for the holiday weekend. He was just baffled that he couldn’t “try it out” before applying and leasing it. Like a test drive?? ???? Still to this day I feel like I was trolled ????????????‍♀️

Donna Blackman Years ago I oversaw an Exclusive Senior Community. Beauty, salon, full kitchen staff, meals, housecleaning, laundry service etc. We actually had a unit for prospective residents to "try" out for a weekend to see how they felt and get a feeling for the community.

Khara House As funny as this is... I'm not mad at the concept! (With liability waivers and such, haha, but still ????)

Chris Finetto Believe it or not, I did that years ago. I had a model unit in a “resort” area. $200 for a night or two, you could stay in the model. Took the $200 off if you leased. Had a handful of takers.
Gave the $200 to leasing and maint., for the cleaning.

Valerie Sargent I wish I’d been able to try out my place before moving in - the subfloors upstairs are awful!! I never would have moved in!
