Our properties (Dallas TX) were damaged in flooding that occurred on August 22, 2022. Our neighborhood received 15" of rain in about an hour and the storm sewer and sanitation system couldn't keep up. It has been a heartbreaking experience to see so many of our beloved tenants torn out of the community, their lives in shambles. Our neighborhood received 15" of rain in about an hour and the storm sewer and sanitation system couldn't keep up. It has been a heartbreaking experience to see so many of our beloved tenants torn out of the community, their lives in shambles. I ask that you pray for our community and those affected (53 tenants at this time) and also encourage you to encourage your tenants to add flood insurance coverage. Most renters policies do not cover flood, and these folks are starting over with nothing.
