If a move-in is flawless, and something else happens down the road with that resident, then there is a built up goodwill, and they are much more likely to have faith that the office team will take care of it. Their anxiety will be less, and that will mean a more friendly and calm interaction. But if the move-in looks like it was sloppy, when that later issue pops up, then it becomes "just another thing wrong with this apartment". The interactions will now be much more intense and volatile to some degree.
