Does anybody have a section of a lease or a lease addendum that restricts or prohibits operating a business from a residential rental? Also looking for input on what can / should be prohibited versus what likely cannot/should not. For example, I think that businesses that have a lot of visitors or might have situations that disturb the neighbors should be prohibited, but those that don't, like maybe a consulting business, would not need to be... Guest Insider May not be that easy. Probably should look at the town zoning laws that apply to your property. May be no commercial use period

Marc Alaia Good idea. Thanks. But I'm also interested in covering things that might not be covered by the local laws. If the laws are more permissible than what I want, I would still like to restrict it.
