Selecting the right technology is critical. The prop-tech space is highly competitive and some companies rely on inflated numbers to make their products more attractive. I've seen it happen, and it's a fast way to lose trust. A bit of research—or even a few secret shopper calls—can quickly expose those "too-good-to-be-true" claims.Dig Deeper When Evaluating Tech StacksIn my research, I've come across eye-popping claims about engagement, ...

Resident events are a great way to build community, encourage retention and spur new renters. But putting one on isn't as simple as putting out a bowl of Snickers and calling it a Halloween party. (Though, admittedly, I've been to worse.) Just because you build it doesn't mean they'll come.It actually takes a lot of work to make a successful event feel effortless. Putting on a resident event requires a lot of "invisible" labor that the resi ...

Come along for a little "day in the life" in which we brand an apartment community. First things first: A little caffeine. Then it's creative juices and collaboration to the max. Why Multifamily Investing Thrives During Economic Uncertainty 🏠

In my years of investing, I've seen how different asset classes react to economic cycles, and multifamily real estate has always stood out. The resilience of multifamily properties, especially during recessions, is truly remarkable....

In today's highly visual world, the way a property is presented can make all the difference in attracting renters. While traditional multifamily photography focuses on highlighting the physical aspects of a property—like the kitchen, bedrooms, and amenities—lifestyle photography goes one step further. It doesn't just show the property, it tells a story about the lifestyle that comes with it.Lifestyle photography has become a game-changer in prope ...

Mike Davis None really. Has the terminology changed? Absolutely but you have some people that have been this industry for a long time that still refer to the old terminology all the time. I actually watched a webcast a few months ago with a leader that most people would recognize and remember at least two words that a lot of people would consider out of date, including complex. I guess I feel I just have more things to worry about than someone using the word complex versus community or vendor versus supplier partner.

Guest Insider Most people live out of their means.... thats why there is so much debt ....but good luck finding rent for 750. And even though I may make it.. I still wouldn't pay 3k in rent.

Chris Finetto Rent is very market specific. There’s plenty of factors that add into rent when compared to income. Old rule of thumb three to one.

Jeff McDonnold That looks like a “could” list. “Should” would be the least amount possible until you fear for your safety 😂

Guest Insider Lots of factors for this but my bracket is just a bit higher then what I pay. They are also probably talking about gross, not net and that made a huge difference from a single female with no kids to a married one, my take home was significantly higher after I changed my status, I wonder what this would look like for car notes... so many people tell me they can't pay their rent bc they had to pay their car...

"So, who are you voting for?"If this topic of water cooler conversation strikes fear in your heart, you are not alone. A Gallup poll says that 15% of respondents felt uncomfortable or that they were treated unfairly at work because of their political views. Frankly, I am surprised the percentage is not a LOT higher than that. The closer we get to the upcoming presidential election, the more at risk we are for discomfort, conflict, and discord in ...
