My company does not have a Zillow account……we have many out dated listings that are getting published by Zillow, causing frustration both for our teams and the prospects. I’ve used the function on the Zillow page to report incorrect pricing…

Lori Hammond Leah Love we don’t…unfortunately we used a “free provider” several years ago…and now realize that once on the internet..always on the internet..and if you don’t have a function to update old information can haunt you.

Guest Insider I would just communicate to the prospect- Zillow is an unaffiliated 3rd party locator. Since we don’t contract with them our information is never accurate. You can contact Zillow for the false advertising.
Our rates for that particular unit is $x.
Teach the team to advise the same. We had the same issue but wasn’t an issue by explaining this to prospects.

Guest Insider If you can get a hold of a rep there they can remove the listings since they're dead. Zillow doesnt want bad listings either - prospects tend to get mad at them (more so than you) for the misinformation and they dont want the negative reputation.
Also make sure you're systems arent sending any information to them.

Lori Hammond Searching through the Zillow post, I was able to identify the source of the information. Communicated with that source, explained the data is several years old and asked them to delete…Provider agreed to delete….time will tell. Thanks for the advice and encouragement.
