When u have a 1 person office for an apartment community, how do you cover on weekends? Do you offer a Tues to Sat week? Or is it M through F?

Guest Insider I worked Mon - Fri when I was by myself but when I was first promoted to manager - I worked Mon - Sat bc I had something to prove. The 2nd go around, my community was stable.

Guest Insider I would assess the property needs along with the lead metrics. If Saturday is a high traffic day and occupancy struggles then you would want to be open on Saturdays, etc. You could also look into setting up and offering self guided tours on days the office is closed as that could be a game changer as well.

Kathi Marie Monday through Friday. Occasionally, if I have to do a showing on a weekend, I will allow either a Saturday or Sunday always before noon so I can have most of my weekend. I try never to work on weekends, but since we are a small family company, we are always keeping an eye on work orders, and or emergencies

Guest Insider I am only person in office, one maintenance man, we both live on the 57 year old property so it is a 24/7. I’ve been here 20 years and he has been here 19 years. We have 10 different languages, so it is challenging. Google translate is how I communicate. Owner gave us a percentage of property to keep us.
