Dave Scruggs Residents here are responsible for their own flex vent. We provide the connection to the inner wall and vent to the outside. But, repair, that's no repair there!

Guest Insider That is not a repair!!! How sad that the maintenance tech is satisfied by that repair..not even acceptable!

Guest Insider Depending if you provided the dryer, then a new dryer vent line should be installed, if it's their dryer repair is on the tenant. As the property manager that's your staff, they represent the property just like you, lead by example.

Kenny Ramsey Major liability waiting to happen. This is such an easy repair to make, if he’s cutting this corner I’d hate to see what else they’re doing. Need a new tech immediately.

Guest Insider Wow! Yeah I’d definitely say that’s a not acceptable repair and maintenance need to do it properly! Masking Tape is not something you use on a dryer vent hose!

Aleisha Parongao That's horrible resident service. What in the heck kind of repair is that?! That for sure is a fire hazard. It's all completely unacceptable and I'd write that tech up.

Jessica Gonzalez Your maintenance that attended to this request and said it was done is a lazy person I hope your turnover is not high and of it is I can already point the finger as to why . Don't be afraid to redirect that "worker"

Guest Insider Retraining the maint tech required. I’d also have all work he completes over the next couple weeks inspected and approved by supervisor before work orders closed.

Guest Insider Maintenance should have done it right the first time. That is not the proper way to fix that.

Teresa Bruno Was the technician hired based on their existing expertise or did they receive training after being employed? If the latter, this scenario should serve as an educational opportunity for all parties involved and must be documented thoroughly, including photographs, in coordination with Human Resources. This is a significant liability matter that must not go unrecorded.
