NEW ISSUE that I have not dealt with before. One state has started allowing digital driver's licenses (your driver's license is now on your phone. How do you use that with a system like Yardi's ID Verify? Many states have this but businesses are allowed to ask for the actual hard copy of the ID...

Kevin Hodges thats what we ended up doing as a last resort. Actually have to put their phone on the copier but that does not work with Yardi's ID Verify system.

Bill Szczytko If printing is the only option when using a digital ID, that's a technology fail.

Leah Love In Louisiana, everyone has to accept our LA Wallet. I don’t even carry my ID. It does scan though.

Robin Leasing I would think if you are using a company to verify, they would have come up with a solution for you.

Michelle Wood We use Yardi ID verify and when dealing with this - I was provided this information from their IDV team. Not great - but basically they can’t support its

The DDL is not a replacement for your license or ID, but rather a supplement to it.

Guest Insider As of October 2023, the following states have active mDLs: Arizona, Colorado, Delaware, Georgia, Florida, Iowa, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, and Utah. Where can mobile drivers licenses be used? The TSA accepts these IDs at select airports.
