Guest Insider I had the office door locked, someone put a check in the rent drop box, then pressed the button on the Ring camera to tell me that she put a check inside the drop box. (this is an almost daily occurrence by the way)

Guest Insider I have a resident who calls the maintenance line to put in a work order then calls to make sure I know she did. Then proceeds to tell me to make sure nobody goes into her apartment. Smh

Guest Insider I had a resident show up at the office door as I was about to leave to tell me that he was sorry he couldn't get my car window rolled up. His arm wasnt long enough to reach the button on the door. its like choking hot out so at noon I cracked my drivers window about an inch hoping it wouldn't be like death in there at 6... car locked ofcourse. Guys arm is skinny but I am still wondering what super power he has that he got past his wrist?? and how was the electric window going to operate let alone shut with his arm in there....

Chris Peterson One of my properties “served” me and a municipality with a hand written petition to save a tree and demanding a “public” meeting. Funny things are that the tree isn’t in danger, the original petition was delivered to someone in our office building (not one of my staff members), and they dropped a copy the petition off to the wrong municipality who got all worked up before they realized it wasn’t for them.

Guest Insider My property manager dealing with the police today on a delinquent child, (as the officer was waiting on a detention center in another county to call him back) she says to the police. I can't get the other counties to come get any of these stray cats, like they are going to come get a stray kid. in the most nonchalant tone.

Amanda Meyer We were asked today what the pet fee was for a rooster and a chimpanzee, in a mid rise building for a resident that wants to surprise his dad with some new pets. We explained those are not pets we can allow, he would like to know where it references that in his lease

When I asked her if she had placed a work order she TOLD ME!! “No, she thought the ppl on the golf carts would notice it wasn’t working” . And had the audacity to try to have her mother get on the line to ask me for compensation. Saying she’s young and didn’t know better.

Tracy Jamison Had a resident come in to the office stating she had slipped on the ice back in January on the walkway next to the building, and wanted to be compensated for her injury. She said there was water that froze on the sidewalk. Gosh, I said, I'm so sorry to hear that (6 months later). Do you know where the water came from? Yes, she said, it happened after the sprinklers came on.

Lindy McClure Resident comes I’m office mad. Says he was grilling last night on the patio and left his griddle on the grill to cool and went back in the morning to get it and it was gone. I tell him I’ll review videos. I review video and find issue. Compose email to resident. Dear resident, I found your griddle. It appears you and your neighbor from across the hall are “sharing a cigarette”. You get up halfway through your “cigarette “ and get the griddle and set it on the bench beside you and then finish your “cigarette”. Your griddle is now in my office. Please come by and pick it up at your earliest convenience.
