Settling a debate … what DATE goes in the bottom paragraph?
When giving a three day notice to vacate for non-payment of rent in Texas - Late notice date is listed on the document as 8/4/24 - so what date goes in the spot that says they need to vacate on or before midnight on the ****** day of August 2024?

Guest Insider I don’t know for Texas but Utah it is business days not calendar days. The 4th doesn’t count as a day so day one would be the 5th (if it is a weekday).

8/4-8/5 is one
8/5-8/6 is two
8/6-8/7 is three
You can file in 8/8
unless you’re mailing or a covered property…

Brandy Blazen Day one typically starts the day following the date of service. Served on the 4h, day 1 would be 5th and so forth.

Tania Acosta Texas PM here! 🙋🏻‍♀️ 7th is the date you should write on there if it is being given on the 4th. Then you can file on the 8th.
