Tenant keeps complaining of a pink residue in their toilet as well as a brown spot that won’t go away. What I have read says it’s airborne and must be cleaned and contained with bleach. They said they’ve tried to do that to no avail.
Has anyone else experienced this ?
Suggestions? Solutions?...

Guest Insider straight peroxide, do not dilute. Walgreens has it in a spray bottle. Spray it on and let it set for a few minutes. This is also good on old porcelain tubs.

Gerry Hunt Call the water department. We had similar situation and water department said it was an algae and not harmful. They said to run the brush around the bowl every few days.
