8:18am - Resident leaves me a message on Voicemail to call her because her AC isn’t working
8:21am - Same resident leaves voicemail for my boss to call her because I had not returned her call yet and that is “rude” of me!

Guest Insider I’ve had residents call once, not leave a message, and then complain that they never got a call back!

Mark Tanguay Yup. They don't realize that we can see all the calls in the system. My favorite is when they call 6 times in a 10 minute period, during lunch, without a voicemail message, then complain that nobody ever answers the phone. Of course I'm not one to let it go unnoticed... "Hi, yes, I just walked in from lunch and see that you called 6 times in a row, what is the emergency?"

Guest Insider Or they want to speak to the supervisor because the ac is not working (which is being handled). As a supervisor I do go around breaking ac units on purpose, you know!

Guest Insider I had one this morning send an ugly email stating the guest bedroom was 20° warmer than the master. Went over with laser thermometer- 20° air blowing out of all vents. Thermostat is Set to 64° and the entire unit felt like an ice box. people get cranky during summer. High is 105° today. Resident said my laser thermometer was broken
