Guest Insider Your on site employees are the work horses! Corporate employees seem to forget that “they” are the support for the on-site team, not the other way around. I see this from company to company. If you have an employee that would like to receive a bonus you might encourage them to transfer to an on-site position. Then and only then will they truly see the differences in the workload. I do not feel a corporate employee should be paid a bonus!

Also what exactly are you "director" of, if you don't have the autonomy to decide who get's bonuses etc? That seems like local corporate liaison rather than director.

My friends company just asked her team to take over another property (44 units, not a good area, problematic community). It is a 25 minute drive from their current property that they would manage out of. Her current property is only 4 years old and well established. What would be a good hourly raise to ask for if she takes this on? She is PM
